“Why is my Bookings logo blurry, tiny or not saving?”

Short answer
There are three separate problems here, and only one has a clear fix. Blurry logos in emails and logos that look tiny on the page are long-standing limitations: Bookings has no size or position control, Microsoft publishes no recommended dimensions, and users report blurriness at every resolution they've tried. A logo that won't save matches a known issue reported since late 2025 with no Microsoft fix as of September 2026. Before assuming the bug, check the display toggle described below.
First, check the logo is actually switched on#
The logo is set in two places, and the second is easy to miss.
- Go to Shared booking pages, open your page, then Business information. Under the logo section select Change, Upload photo, then Save.
- Go to Booking page and then Customize your page, and make sure the option to display your business logo is on. Save the booking page.
- Open the public link in a private window, since a signed-in session or cached page can show an older version.
The Graph API confirms that logo display is a separate on/off flag (isBusinessLogoDisplayEnabled) on the booking page settings, so an uploaded logo can exist and still not be shown.
Logo won't save or disappears after saving#
The reported pattern is specific: the logo appears under Business information after upload, then disappears once you select Save. The Microsoft Q&A thread from November 2025 has 10 "same question" votes, no answers, and "same here" comments into March 2026. Users in that thread point to an open Feedback Portal idea about it.
Microsoft hasn't documented a cause or workaround. Things worth trying, none of which are confirmed fixes:
- Save the rest of the Business information page first, then upload the logo and save again on its own.
- Try a different browser or a private window, with extensions off.
- Try a smaller, simpler file, such as a PNG under a few hundred kilobytes, in case size or format is the trigger.
- Ask another admin of the booking page to upload it from their account.
- If none of that works, vote on the Feedback Portal idea and open a Microsoft 365 support request from the admin center, so the issue is logged against your tenant.
Logo is blurry in confirmation emails#
This has been reported since at least 2021. One Microsoft Q&A thread (10+ same-question votes) lists a user trying sizes from 64 to 2,000 pixels, PNG and JPG, at 72 and 96 dpi, with the email version blurry every time. The thread was locked without a fix.
Microsoft states that business information, including the logo, is used both on the booking page and in the messages Bookings sends. It doesn't document how the image is resized for email, and there is no separate email logo setting. Because the email template can't be edited (see customizing the confirmation email), you can't swap in a sharper image or link to a hosted one.
Logo looks tiny on the booking page#
A Tech Community thread from 2021 to 2023 asks for a way to resize the logo; the replies are only "same issue here, no way to resize". There is still no size, crop or placement control, and CSS can't change it (see custom CSS on Bookings).
What helps in practice is designing for a small slot: a compact mark or icon version of your logo with little empty padding around it usually reads better than a wide wordmark with lots of whitespace, since any empty space in the file takes up part of an already small slot.
Doing this with BookingsXP#
If the logo slot on Microsoft's page is too small for your brand, BookingsXP shows your booking flow as a widget on your own site, where your site header carries your logo at whatever size you want and the widget follows your accent colour and theme. The confirmation email still comes from Microsoft, so an email logo problem stays a Microsoft issue. See the templates. BookingsXP is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by Microsoft.
